THE HENDERSON BEHIND HENDERSON DIESEL
Since childhood, Joseph Henderson has always been known for tinkering and figuring things out, taking things apart, figuring out how they work, and then putting them back together piece by piece. Mechanic work isn't just the career he chose, it's what he was meant to do.

In 2010, Joe attended Lively Technical College in Tallahassee, FL right out of High School where he learned the basics of the trade. He cut his Diesel Mechanic teeth working at Shiver Diesel in Midway, FL learning from Robert Donalson, of Donalson Diesel Performance in Havana, FL. Under Robert's teaching, he learned as much as he could about diesel engines and repair and gained invaluable knowledge of the diesel business.

In 2017 Joe went to work for Robert at Donalson Diesel and enjoyed being part of the new shop and experiencing the rapid growth of their business as they expanded to their beautiful new facility outside downtown Havana in 2021. Finally in 2023, he decided that with two growing kids at home, and over a decade of experience under his belt, it was time to spread his wings and start work on his own, closer to home on the east side of Tallahassee, and thus Henderson Diesel Service was born.

More than being good at what he does, Joe is an honest man and hard worker who isn't satisfied with just getting trucks out the door. He aims to always provide quality work, quality parts, and quality customer service. He will always tell you what you need to hear, even if it's not what you want to hear, and always strives to communicate effectively and professionally, educating you on what your diesel needs and why, so you leave feeling confident it's in the best hands.

When he isn't working, Joe enjoys spending time on the water with his wife Becky, and two kids, Ellie and Colt, whether fishing the river or bay in St. Marks, FL or hanging out at Cherry Lake in Madison, FL. He is also a proficient musician who actively serves in the music ministry at their church, Morningside Church, in Tallahassee.
